Sandra leads the broadcast team and specializes in client management, new business opportunities for the media team, pitching top-tier media, executing media tours, and providing client strategy and guidance.

Sandra strategically built her broadcast team, creating a team of pitchers with newsroom experience who understand the news industry firsthand and know how to pitch reporters and producers nationwide.

Sandra developed On Air’s bilingual virtual media tour capability, allowing clients to reach TV news stations worldwide. She has also broken through new platforms in the digital and social space within the broadcast community. She also led the On Air brand launch effort using her vision to create a bilingual, evolving broadcast powerhouse for On Air.

With over 15 years of experience, Sandra is an original employee of On Air’s legacy firm, Home Front Communications, joining the company right out of college.

Sandra was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She now lives in Tampa, FL, with her husband Matt, two kids Noah and Sofia, and two dogs Gigi and Milo. Her love for animals is unmatched. She is a proud Bucs, Lightning, and Rays fan.

Over the past decade, Emily has worked as a producer and editor at various networks, including ABC News, MSNBC, The Associated Press, and, most recently, CBS News, where she produced “Face the Nation.” Emily fell in love with politics and news while studying in D.C. at American University, where she served as one of the youngest White House interns during the Obama Administration.

Emily applies her knack and knowledge for navigating the breaking news landscape on quick deadlines across the spectrum of politics, technology, and health to help secure national and top-tier local placements for a vast array of clients, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, PBS, and Johns Hopkins University.

Emily, a New England native hailing from Connecticut, currently lives in Virginia and has called the D.C. area home for over 15 years. Outside of work, Emily can be found chasing her two children, Tyler and Sara, and playing Pokémon.

While at Avoq, Whitney has helped clients with her extensive journalism background, media strategy, knowledge of the current news landscape, and production. As director, she manages client relationships, leads media outreach, and executes media tours.

Before joining the team, Whitney was a producer of CBS News affiliate services, producing political and original feature stories for the network and its stations. She served as a field producer for major breaking news events, including hurricanes, the 2016 Democratic National Convention, and Presidential State of the Union addresses. She was also lucky enough to interview the 43^rd Kennedy Center Honorees (Debbie Allen, Joan Baez, Garth Brooks, Midori, and Dick Van Dyke) and the tribute performers as part of CBS’ annual coverage of the event.

In her spare time, Whitney travels, golfs, skis, and hangs out with her orange tabby cat, Murray.

Nick served as a senior producer for WJLA, the ABC affiliate in Washinton, D.C. He oversaw the planning and production of the morning and evening newscasts. Nick produced a two-hour Emmy-Award-winning newscast covering the 2022 apartment explosion in Silver Spring, Maryland.

At On Air. he leads English and Spanish language media outreach, executes media tours in both languages, manages clients across multiple industries, and develops media coverage reports for projects.

Nick is from Bogota, Colombia, and has three citizenships! (American, Colombian, and Italian.). Now living in Virginia, He can be found at the gym or on the hunt for the perfect burrito.

Katie Suiters spent nearly 15 years in top newsrooms nationwide, including COX Media Group, FOX 32 in Chicago, and the NBC affiliates in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., earning two Emmy Awards for her work as a producer. She has managed national and local news coverage, most recently overseeing reports on the White House, Congress, and federal agencies for over a dozen TV and radio stations.

At On Air, she uses her insider knowledge to help leaders engage with the media and tell compelling stories, focusing on top-tier media outreach and client management.

She loves to hike and has hiked Machu Picchu! Katie lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two kids.

For more than 10 years, Veronica worked at CNN. In her role as editorial producer, she pitched, coordinated, and produced daily interviews for major CNN shows with world leaders such as former presidents of Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Bolivia, as well as other world political officials. She covered stories and breaking news, including the death of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, Hurricane Maria, the Parkland shooting, U.S. elections, terrorist attacks, and other major events in the U.S. and abroad.

At On Air, Veronica specializes in media relations, campaign management, and developing media campaigns in English and Spanish. She works with clients from different sectors and industries, creating and pitching their stories across the country. She has strong relationships with news directors, producers, and reporters at TV and radio stations nationwide.

Veronica seamlessly integrates and crafts messaging and content according to each audience. During the pandemic, she led influential health campaigns, helping educate the American public on critical messages and vaccinations.

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Veronica now lives in Atlanta and enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.

Daniel (“Danny’) worked as an operations technician for the NBC affiliate in Baltimore, MD.  He operated the cameras and audio board and was the floor director for the morning and nightly newscasts.

At On Air, he tracks and reports digital metrics for all media tours. As the Media Team editor, he builds storyboards for client reels and edits client interviews for air use.  He also pitches and produces media tours for an array of clients.  His work has helped increase the visibility of critical public safety information.

Danny lives with his wife and their little Westie, Winnie, in Baltimore, MD. He enjoys being outside on trails, whether hiking or biking, and loves a good horror movie.
