Whitney Bright
While at Avoq, Whitney has helped clients with her extensive journalism background, media strategy, knowledge of the current news landscape, and production. As director, she manages client relationships, leads media outreach, and executes media tours.
Before joining the team, Whitney was a producer of CBS News affiliate services, producing political and original feature stories for the network and its stations. She served as a field producer for major breaking news events, including hurricanes, the 2016 Democratic National Convention, and Presidential State of the Union addresses. She was also lucky enough to interview the 43rd Kennedy Center Honorees (Debbie Allen, Joan Baez, Garth Brooks, Midori, and Dick Van Dyke) and the tribute performers as part of CBS’ annual coverage of the event.
In her spare time, Whitney travels, golfs, skis, and hangs out with her orange tabby cat, Murray.
Nick Rios
Nick served as a senior producer for WJLA, the ABC affiliate in Washinton, D.C. He oversaw the planning and production of the morning and evening newscasts. Nick produced a two-hour Emmy-Award-winning newscast covering the 2022 apartment explosion in Silver Spring, Maryland.
At On Air. he leads English and Spanish language media outreach, executes media tours in both languages, manages clients across multiple industries, and develops media coverage reports for projects.
Nick is from Bogota, Colombia, and has three citizenships! (American, Colombian, and Italian.). Now living in Virginia, He can be found at the gym or on the hunt for the perfect burrito.
Veronica Gallardo
For more than 10 years, Veronica worked at CNN. In her role as editorial producer, she pitched, coordinated, and produced daily interviews for major CNN shows with world leaders such as former presidents of Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Bolivia, as well as other world political officials. She covered stories and breaking news, including the death of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, Hurricane Maria, the Parkland shooting, U.S. elections, terrorist attacks, and other major events in the U.S. and abroad.
At On Air, Veronica specializes in media relations, campaign management, and developing media campaigns in English and Spanish. She works with clients from different sectors and industries, creating and pitching their stories across the country. She has strong relationships with news directors, producers, and reporters at TV and radio stations nationwide.
Veronica seamlessly integrates and crafts messaging and content according to each audience. During the pandemic, she led influential health campaigns, helping educate the American public on critical messages and vaccinations.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Veronica now lives in Atlanta and enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
Daniel Brennan
Daniel (“Danny’) worked as an operations technician for the NBC affiliate in Baltimore, MD. He operated the cameras and audio board and was the floor director for the morning and nightly newscasts.
He tracks and reports digital metrics for all of On Air’s media tours. He works with clients to build out reports to highlight key metrics important to projects. His work has helped to increase the visibility of critical public safety information.
Daniel lives in Baltimore, MD, with his partner and their Westie, Winnie. He enjoys being outside on trails, whether hiking or biking, and loves a fun horror movie.
